History

confluentes e. V. was founded in 1994 by students of the WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management with the aim of implementing the theoretical and practical knowledge acquired during their studies in practical projects. The Latin origin of "confluentes" not only represents the confluence of the Rhine and Moselle rivers near Koblenz, but also reflects the "confluence" of implementation and practice. The focus should always be on the interaction between companies and WHU students in order to ensure that the purpose of the statutes is to offer students opportunities for practical development. While in the beginning mainly small companies from the Koblenz region were advised, the range of companies supported rapidly expanded. In the meantime, confluentes advises medium-sized companies as well as DAX corporations both nationally and internationally. Due to the skilful management of the association, confluentes was able to establish itself after more than 20 years as the leading student management consultancy in Germany. We would like to continue this success with you and look forward to a project with you.
